The Pterygoid Anchorage Technique

In cases requiring extensive upper-molar distalization, long temporary anchorage devices can be inserted in the pterygoid area to avoid the disadvantages of interradicular and infrazygomatic miniscrews. Drs. Friedländer and Chhatwani demonstrate the technique in an adult patient.
