Early Derotation of Palatally Impacted Canines

After open exposure of a palatally impacted canine, the tooth will erupt medially, but occasionally will also be malrotated. This Pearl reviews the use of buccal and lingual buttons and elastic chains to derotate the canine while moving it into the arch.
