Intraoral Scanner
3Shape’s TRIOS 5 scanner has won the 2023 Cellerant Best of Class Hygiene Award for innovative solutions that improve clinical outcomes, enhance ergonomics, and optimize oral hygiene. The body of this FDA-cleared wireless scanner is sealed up to its battery inlet to prevent the accumulation of contaminants in cracks or crevices, according to the manufacturer. 3D Print Resin
NightGuard Flex is a light-curable, polymerizable resin designed for use with extraoral light-curing equipment. Indicated for the fabrication of nightguards, occlusal guards, and occlusal splints, this biocompatible 3D-printing material offers simple heat-set delivery and two times faster print speeds, according to the manufacturer. The flavorless resin is 510(k) cleared for intraoral use and becomes pliable at body temperature for patient comfort.
