Aligner Manufacturing

ULab Systems has opened a new state-of-the-art aligner manufacturing facility in Tennessee, complementing its existing planning and design tools to provide a complete treatment solution, according to the company. Aligners are shipped in no more than 10 days, either to the office or directly to the patient, in packaging that can incorporate the orthodontist’s brand. Practices that wish to print some of their own aligners—such as the first few to start treatment—can still take advantage of uLab printing thanks to its pay-by-aligner pricing.

Barrier Film

Featuring a non-stick border, Crosstex Barrier Film is easy to place and remove even when wearing gloves, according to the manufacturer. These 4" × 6" film sheets cling to any hard surface but leave no residue after removal, making them ideal for awkward areas that might be hard to clean and disinfect. The 1,200-sheet rolls are available in blue or clear.

Aligner Stickers

Invisalign Stickables are water-resistant stickers for clear aligners made from SmartTrack material. According to the company, these fun stickers let patients express personal creativity through 10 themes, including emojis, gaming, sports, holidays, food, and nature, with more to be added. The multilayer, biocompatible plastic Stickables are currently offered only in the United States and Canada, but will be available in other countries starting next year.
