Aligner Attachments
According to the company, 3M Clarity Precision Grip Attachments are customized to fit each patient’s unique anatomy and then three-dimensionally printed, avoiding any potential distortion from the flexible templates typically used for manual attachment fabrication. Available exclusively for 3M Clarity Aligners, the attachments can be designed and ordered using the Oral Care Portal. A stain-resistant finish improves patient esthetics.

Custom Mouthguards
KeyGuard custom-printed sports mouthguards are fabricated from 3D scans of the athletes’ teeth for a precise fit that enhances both comfort and function, according to the manufacturer. Printed from a biocompatible resin, now available in white, black, purple, or green, the mouthguards offer improved impact resistance, tear strength, and water absorption. The fabrication process requires less energy than traditional thermoforming and eliminates the need for physical molds, reducing the environmental impact.

Bonding Agent
The updated formula of Kuraray’s Clearfil Universal Bond Quick 2 includes amide and urethane tetramethacrylate monomers for immediate bonding to dentin or enamel. Suitable for both direct and indirect restorations, the light-cured bonding agent forms a thin, strong, and uniform layer, according to the company. Although the adhesive is self-etching, the included K-ETCHANT gel can be used when total etching is indicated.
