Workflow Integration
Dentsply Sirona and 3Shape have expanded their workflow integrations. Dentsply Sirona intraoral scanners now connect directly with 3Shape Dental System software, allowing clinicians to easily transmit orders to their lab partners via DS Core, according to the company, and TRIOS scanners connect to Primemill and Primeprint for in-office milling and printing using 3Shape Unite, DS Core, and inLab CAD software.

Philips Sonicare has teamed up with Spotify and Sydney Leroux to help users make positive changes in their daily oral-care and other health routines, according to the manufacturer. Through an in-app campaign at https://open.spotify.com/site/philips, listeners can use playlists to motivate themselves to work toward their wellness goals, whether that involves brushing teeth for a full two minutes or running an extra mile. Listeners can also access various motivational audio tracks from Sydney Leroux and other guests.

Bonding System
Ormco Digital Bonding enables orthodontists to streamline their daily workflows and achieve customized and consistent positioning with Damon Ultima brackets and Spark Approver software, according to the manufacturer. Clinicians can use their digital workflows for all patients and easily make choices on multiple treatment options in the software. The digital interface uses one submission portal for both Digital Bonding and Spark Clear Aligner cases. This development closely follows Spark Clear Aligners Release 14, which provided web-based access to the Spark Approver platform.

Oral Irrigator
Proclaim has been named a Consumer Technology Association 2024 Innovation Awards Honoree for its custom-jet oral-health system, the world’s first personalized and fully automated oral-care device.
