Toothbrush
The Kempii toothbrush is a natural, safe, and environmentally friendly alternative to plastic toothbrushes, according to the manufacturer. Made with Bambuplast, a biodegradable material created from corn and bamboo, the brushes are free of PVC, BPA, and phthalates; naturally antibacterial; and taste-free. Proceeds help support organizations that protect endangered Kemp’s ridley sea turtles (Lepidochelys kempii); each brush handle has a tiny, smiling kempii molded on the end.

Digital Scanner
Featuring a small, lightweight, easy-to-hold handpiece with two miniaturized 3D scanners, the Virtuo Viva intraoral scanner is both comfortable and efficient, according to the manufacturer. Integrated motion technology allows touch-free control of screen images using gestures, while voice-controlled scanning helps prevent cross-contamination. Both light and sound indicate when a scan is complete. Full-color 3D models can be immediately viewed and easily transferred as STL files.

Adhesive
The purple color of BracePaste Color Change turns translucent after light-curing for ease of bracket placement and clean-up, according to the manufacturer. The medium-viscosity adhesive is designed to minimize bracket drift and allow archwires to be tied in immediately after curing. It also fluoresces under UV light to facilitate flash removal. Stored at room temperature, the product is available in syringes or carpules.

Sterilization Monitoring
Biological indicator results are available in only 24 minutes from the Attest Mini Auto-Reader 490M, according to 3M, allowing easy and fast instrument sterilization monitoring. An extra-large display counts down the time to results, a small footprint saves counter space, and the supplied USB cable can be used to connect the unit to a computer for documentation. The reader is compatible with Attest 1295, 1491, and 1492V biological indicators.
