Lingual Retainer Wire

The unique “flex linkage” of Ortho-FlexTech lingual retainer wire reduces bond-failure rates while maintaining corrections and preventing relapse, according to the manufacturer. The pliable wire lies flat against the teeth and readily adapts to the curve of the lingual arch, making it easy to place and more comfortable for the patient. Designed primarily for lower 3-3 or upper 2-2 retention, the wire is available in stainless steel or gold.

Periodontal Treatment

Perio Restore is a noninvasive home-use system for prevention and treatment of periodontal infections. Each kit includes a digitally designed, customized tray that the patient fills with 1.7% hydrogen peroxide gel. According to the manufacturer, a 10- to 15-minute application significantly reduces bacteria levels and prevents recolonization by pushing the gel into the periodontal pocket to break up biofilm. The treatment works between the teeth and below the gingival margin.
