Intrusion of a Supraerupted Maxillary Second Molar Using a Modified Cantilever Appliance

Bracket positioning alone is often inadequate to correct a hanging upper molar. This simple, cost-effective cantilever intrusion spring is extended from both sides of the adjacent first-molar band to apply a pure vertical force for intrusion of a supraerupted second molar.
