THE EDITOR'S CORNER

The reaction of the orthodontic community to JPO has been quick and positive. The number of subscribers, the number and quality of participants, the amount and kinds of material that has been obtained, the interest and enthusiasm about JPO has been heart-warming. It makes the sheer, grinding effort involved worthwhile.

It also imposes on us a great obligation which we accept and pledge our utmost effort to fulfill. Our task is made easier by the fine cooperation of an outstanding Contributing Editors Board. It is made joyful by the participation of men like Dr. Buchin who begins a two-part series in this issue. It renews you to visit someone like Dr. Buchin. You go away determined to practice a more solid brand of orthodontics, to dedicate yourself a little more, to train yourself a little better, to study your methods, to improve your techniques and the excellence of your results. I hope a little of that upliftment rubs off from the interview.

We are going to continue to visit the offices of the world's leading clinical orthodontists and report to you what they are doing and what they are thinking.

We also wart to know what you are doing and thinking. There is something of value to the profession in the heart and mind of every practicing orthodontist and in his office, his operatory, and his laboratory. Let us hear from you. We want your constructive help and your active participation to make JPO live up to its promise and to serve the profession.
