Sleep Appliance

Great Lakes Dental and NewSom Sleep present BluePro, a noncustomized, affordable sleep appliance for mild to moderate sleep apnea and snoring. A high-performance thermoplastic provides strong, long-lasting retention and a comfortable fit, while a low-profile titration mechanism allows for simple self-adjustment and fine-tuning.

Bending Robot

Bender II, a chairside robot by Yoat, simplifies in-house fixed-retainer bending. According to the company, the cost-effective product allows same-day retainer bending immediately after debonding, using only the patient’s scan. By eliminating the traditional workflow requiring stone models and external laboratory services, the technology reduces turnaround time and associated costs while allowing clinical staff to focus on higher-value tasks.

Intended to address concerns about exposure to harmful compounds released during the finishing process, the V35E offers precise control and faster workflow, helping labs work more efficiently and safely. The manufacturer states that the filtration system protects technicians and clinicians, while maintaining a cleaner work environment.
