"Impacted Tooth First" Treatment of a Severely Displaced Upper Second Premolar in a Growing Patient

In a growing patient with a significantly migrated upper second premolar and a retained deciduous second molar on the same side, Drs. Giuntoli, Crescini, De Mari, and Migliorati use direct miniscrew anchorage to align the impacted tooth before bonding full fixed appliances, reducing the risk of root resorption.
