Nightguard Resins
SprintRay has introduced two new resins, NightGuard Flex 2 and NightGuard Firm 2. According to the company, Flex 2 is resistant to fractures and pliable at body temperature, while Firm 2 is intended for rigid occlusal guards. The latter holds up to heavy grinding and clenching, delivering appliances that last longer with daily use. When paired with SprintRay artificial intelligence, these resins can produce guards in under an hour.

Thermoforming Material
The new Reva thermoforming material from uLab Systems can be used to fabricate aligners that are 17% thinner than leading brands, according to the company. With a more comfortable fit and a nearly invisible appearance, enabled by the material’s stain-resistant, soft matte finish, the aligners encourage better compliance. Smaller attachments can also be used without sacrificing effective tooth movement and predictable progress.
