Aligner Reminders

Aligner Reminders, a new software program co-created by an orthodontist and his software-­designer patient, automates the process of reminding patients to change their clear aligners. Compatible with all major aligner brands, the software sends reminders via text or e-mail and offers a direct channel for patients to communicate with their orthodontists about aligner-related issues. According to the company, the platform is user-friendly and improves treatment adherence and outcomes.

Oral Hygiene System

Waterpik has launched Sensonic Complete Care, combining the Sensonic toothbrush and Waterpik water flosser. According to the company, the system offers specialized flossing tips and PrecisionPulse technology, which enhances plaque removal and gum health, making it a highly effective tool for at-home oral care. Accepted by the American Dental Association, it has been shown to remove plaque around braces up to three times better than manual brushing and flossing.

Dental Operating System

CBCT Scanner

Owandy Radiology recently debuted the I-Max 3D XPro cone-beam computed tomography scanner.
