3D Printing Updates
SprintRay is partnering with Braces On Demand to give clinicians the capability to print brackets in-office. This 3D-printing system enables the fabrication of a variety of fixed appliances in less than 30 minutes, according to the manufacturer. SprintRay has also added to its software offerings, including SprintRay Cloud Design for clear aligner treatment planning and RayWare Cloud for tracking the production of 3D-printed clear aligner cases.

Mobile Scanning Station
Planmeca Imprex is a sleek mobile unit for taking high-quality digital impressions, according to the company. An integrated PC comes preinstalled with the Romexis suite and ready for use with the Emerald S intraoral scanner. Scans captured on the station are stored to the Romexis database and are immediately available on any workstation on the same network, or they can be sent to an external partner directly from the station.
