Distalization of Lower Molars to Alleviate Lower Anterior Crowding with the Invisalign System
In a series of five cases, Drs. Orloff and Shiikha demonstrate the application of clear aligners in distalizing lower molars to relieve moderate anterior crowding. No extractions, intermaxillary elastics, or temporary anchorage devices are employed, and interproximal reduction is used only to address tooth-size discrepancies.
