Treatment of Mandibular Canine Agenesis with Bone-Anchored Protraction of Posterior Teeth

A 10-year-old patient with a missing lower permanent canine, retained deciduous canine, and peg-shaped upper lateral incisor is treated with rapid maxillary expansion and skeletally anchored orthodontic space closure, thus avoiding the need for future implant rehabilitation.
