This beautifully illustrated book, edited by Dr. Derek Steinbacher with contributions mainly from the faculty at Yale University Medical Center, provides a wide-ranging discussion of esthetic orthognathic procedures, along with in-depth coverage of multiple aspects of rhinoplasty. The cases are uniformly well treated, the cone-beam computed tomography photos are informative, and the case descriptions are helpful.

Much of the content is tailored to plastic and reconstructive surgeons, as well as oral and maxillo­facial surgeons. Orthodontists would probably find the chapters on asymmetry, genioplasty, and submental lipo­suction to be highly informative and helpful, both in treatment planning and in anticipating potential esthetic outcomes.
