Bracket Cleanup

Here is a great way to clean up brackets quickly after cementation of bands. First dip the brackets in a bracket waxer (from Unitek) or use a Chapstick to coat the brackets prior to cementation. After cementation and initial cement removal, dry the brackets with an air syringe. Take a Crescent Bristle Brush for straight handpiece in your fingers, and clean the wax off the brackets with the brush. In seconds, the brackets will be perfectly clean and free of wax, with no cement in the bracket slot or under the tie wings.
