In this month's issue, JCO is inaugurating an Orthodontic Pearls feature. Pearls (of wisdom) have been a popular part of some orthodontic meetings, lectures and courses. This department will be conducted by Dr. Jerry Clark, who himself presents an unusually well-prepared multimedia program for orthodontists. Pearls are those helpful ideas and hints and tips, which in themselves may be small, but which can make a big contribution to making life easier for the practicing orthodontist.
The tradition of sharing Pearls with colleagues is the guiding spirit of this JCO feature and everyone is invited to share his Pearls with us by sending them, along with illustrations when that would be helpful, to Dr. Jerry Clark, 409 Parkway Drive, Greensboro, NC 27401. Jerry will give credit to each contributor, except when requested not to.
Future Pearls will deal with aspects of office design, diagnosis and treatment planning, treatment technique, time savers, office forms, letters, records, management, financial, speakers, lectures and courses, and any area helpful to orthodontic practice.
