Have you noticed that JPO has been getting bigger?

We have been fortunate to have caught on so quickly with the profession. It has enabled us to grow. As we have been able to grow, we have added more pages. We have added articles and features of practical importance on techniques and procedures of orthodontic patient care and practice management. We expect to continue to grow and to add more interesting features as space allows.

We have really only begun to develop the idea of a journal of practical orthodontics. This is the place for orthodontists to get together and share their ideas and techniques in orthodontics. We have sought, and we are getting, wide participation within the profession all over the world. We hope, and we see signs, that the contagion is spreading. We want to encourage you to become an active participant in JPO and in this sharing the entire profession will gain. I have said before and I would like to repeat it here--there are ideas, techniques, and procedures in the office and laboratory of every orthodontist which could be interesting and helpful to other orthodontists. All it takes is the stimulus and the vehicle. We hope to keep on providing the profession with both. JPO is going to continue to be an exciting and expanding development in orthodontics. We want you along as a contributor and as a subscriber.
