Portable Scanner
The iTero Element Flex is a wand-only device that connects to a clinician’s laptop computer for convenient portable imaging, according to Align Technology. The smaller size and touchscreen operation facilitate chairside use, yet the scanner still produces the same full-color scans as the standard Element products. 3D Print Resin
The multipurpose VeriModel OS White 3D print resin is used in digital light processing (DLP) printers with 385nm or 405nm light sources to produce white orthodontic and presentation models. According to the manufacturer, the resin is safe for use with silicone-based separators and works well with vacuum formers and laser welders.

Diamond Disc
The nonabrasive, uncoated edges of the diamond SupraDisc are designed to address the common problem of accidental enamel gouging during interproximal reduction, according to the company. Smooth edges make the discs easier to insert and keep straight during use. The discs are available in three versions: top-coated, bottom-coated, and dual-coated.

X-Ray Apron
The Cling Shield x-ray apron now features a smiley-face design, in addition to the happy-face illustration that Palmero has been producing for 30 years. The textured vinyl of the apron clings in place to provide effective coverage during imaging, and the smile helps put patients at ease, according to the company. Available styles are the Protectall Apron with neck collar, apron without neck collar, and pano dual apron.
