I use damon mx brackets to treat most of my patients. Damon brackets along with expanded arch wires, expand the upper and lower dental arches to resolve minor to moderate crowding. i would request the users to share their experiences with damon system.

Dear Dr:
You are depending on expansion in your treatment. Most of authors today believe that expansion relapses unless retention is placed indefinitely, which I think is not practical. However, many clinicians will agree with me that in many cases expansion occurs and retention is not placed and still relapse does not occur ?? why ?? I think there is gap between research and what happens in the clinic. Sometimes you expand by mistake and you want relapse and does not occur ??? so I place my question on top of your question / hopefully research will answer us in the clinical language.
