Diagnostic Deprogrammer

The Denar Deprogrammer is a diagnostic tool used to screen patients for TMD. With the Deprogrammer in place, symptoms such as headaches and muscle pain will lessen within 10 minutes if they are caused by occlusal interferences, but remain unchanged if related to the TMJ, according to the manufacturer. Sold in boxes of 10, the device is designed for use in Class I and Class II patients in either the upper or lower arch.

The TotalGard athletic mouthguard was designed by an orthodontist to fit comfortably over brackets and most other orthodontic aappliances without interfering with tooth movement. No boiling or molding is required, according to the manufacturer. Single- and double-arch versions are available in three sizes and nine colors, with or without straps.
